The Experience
Where We Begin
Every session begins with a conversation.
There is no script to follow and no fixed agenda. We begin by exploring what is happening in your life, what feels unresolved, and what seems to be asking for attention. Sometimes this is a recent event. Sometimes it is a pattern that has quietly repeated for many years.
As we talk, I listen not only to the story itself, but to the deeper patterns it reveals - how experience is being held in the body, reflected emotionally, and expressed through recurring themes in your life.
Understanding the deeper pattern
Together we begin to build a picture of what is happening beneath the surface.
I may introduce the chakra system as one way of understanding how different experiences affect particular aspects of ourselves. Rather than something to believe, it becomes a practical map that helps explain why certain patterns persist, what they are asking of us, and what greater balance might look like.
Throughout the session, I explain what we are observing and why it matters. My intention is not only to facilitate change, but to help you understand your own inner landscape, so you leave with greater clarity, language, and confidence in your own experience.
This conversation creates a shared understanding of the work before we begin the ceremonial process.
Entering the ceremonial space
The second part of the session invites a different quality of attention.
Through simple ceremonial elements - including sound, rhythm, incense, voice, and focused awareness - we create a space that allows the nervous system to settle and attention to move inward.
People experience this differently.
- Some reconnect with forgotten memories.
- Some encounter powerful emotions that have long remained beneath awareness.
- Some receive symbolic images or unexpected insights.
- Others experience a profound sense of stillness, spaciousness, or relief.
There is no right experience, and nothing that needs to be forced. The work follows what is genuinely ready to emerge.
Integration
The ceremony is only one part of the process.
Afterwards we spend time reflecting on what unfolded, exploring its meaning, and connecting it back to everyday life.
Where appropriate, I may suggest simple practices or rituals that support the integration of the work between sessions, helping insight become something that is lived rather than simply understood.
The aim is not simply to have a meaningful experience during the session, but for that experience to become part of how you live afterwards.
The work does not begin with a technique. It begins with meeting what is genuinely present. Everything else unfolds from there.
The work begins with a conversation.
You don't need to have it all figured out - we start with what is present, and move from there.
